MAGELLIUM IS INCREASINGLY INVOLVED IN R&D ACTIVITY IN ROBOTIC METHODS AND THEORIES, SENSORS AND PLATFORMS FOR A RANGE OF APPLICATIONS INCLUDING MOBILE ROBOTS, MINIATURE OR MACRO-SIZED ROBOTS, ADAPTIVE SYSTEMS, AUTONOMOUS ROBOTS OR TELE-OPERATED SYSTEMS.

Our in-depth knowledge of applied computer vision, artificial intelligence, human-robot interaction, mobile manipulation, control systems, interactive 3D visualization and robot software is used in applications such as space robotics, telemedicine, multi-robot cooperation, and assistive domotics and robotics.


Vision Systems: design, calibration, optical alignments

Robot Software: 3D stereovision reconstruction, visual odometry, path planning, multi-sensor systems, etc.

Artificial Intelligence and Pattern Recognition: fuzzy logic, Neural Network, Support Vector Machines, statistical pattern recognition, genetic algorithms, machine learning, etc.
