Geomatics

Geomatics data originates from many sources including earth orbiting satellites, air and seaborne sensors and ground-based instruments.

Magellium's principal fields of expertise in Geomatics include mapping sciences, land management, geographic information systems and spatial data infrastructures, environmental visualization and virtual globes, geodesy, photogrammetry, remote sensing, surveying and Global Positioning Systems.

Geospatial applications : Development and integration of applications for sectors such as defense, cartography, cadastral surveys, civil security, health, natural/industrial disaster management, transport, environment, land planning, tourism, ocean and coastal management.

These applications are developed within the TAMS economic interest group for geospatial technologies and applications for mobility solutions, of which Magellium is a founding member, and in conjunction with businesses and service providers from each sector.
